How Mopar® Brake Rotors Work
The brake rotor, which is also known as a disc brake, attaches to the tire's hub. When you step on the brake pedal, brake fluid rushes to the calipers, which then compress the brake pads against the brake rotor to create the resistance that slows your wheels down.
